We've had a pretty exciting spring here as we were chosen to produce the dinnerware for the G8 Summit in Huntsville. Eric enjoyed working with Chef Rory Golden of Deerhurst Resort to come up with the perfect pieces for breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee service. Chef Golden also chose several one of a kind serving pieces for the event. Everything was completed and delivered in the first week of June. The pieces are now at Harrington Lake - the official retreat of the Prime Minister.
Eric presents handmade functional and art pottery at his studio in the woods outside of Huntsville. Dinnerware, serving pieces etc. are leadfree, microwave and dishwasher safe. Glazes range from matt green, blues and whites to shiny black temmoku. Form, texture and surface decoration are fused to create both traditional vessels and powerful one-of-a-kind pieces.
During the Tour, sit at the potter's wheel and try it yourself.
